So that’s what a translucent tongue looks like.
Nintendo’s second round of colored Game Boy units, this time pocket-sized. And over a year before the iMac, mind you.

Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. It challenges the original Super Mario Bros. as my fave Mario platformer of all time.

I personally enjoyed the Game Boy version of Donkey Kong. Similar to the original, but with enough unique additions, plus a TON of levels, to make it fun.

Awesome. My wife actually got me a black GameBoy Pocket for Christmas this year. I love playing some of those simple arcade games on them, like Pac-Man and Donkey Kong.
My favorite GameBoy game though, has to be Zelda: Link’s Awakening. I remember being amazed about how such a huge game could fit on such a small cartridge. Haha!

Probably the Pokemon games (Red/Blue/Yellow/Godl/Silver/Crystal). Tetris is better for playing on the toilet, though.

Link’s Awakening. Way back when, we had a vendor visit our offices an she gave out free Game Boy Colors. Prior to that, my experience with the Game Boy didn’t go much beyond the store demos of Tetris and Metroid II.

It’d have to be a toss-up between Tetris and Kirby’s Pinball Land (which I didn’t actually beat until a few years ago). Faceball 2000 was pretty memorable as well.

I really enjoyed “Motocross Maniacs”. I bought it used in a second hand market without packaging.

Kingdom Crusade with the link cable. I could play for hours.

Tough one… Pokemon Red/Blue? Metroid II: Return of Samus? Tetris? Mousetrap Hotel? I can’t decide…

Favourite Game Boy game? Obviously, Pokémon Red, the game which I played endlessly on a green Game Boy Pocket that I bought from a friend for something like 20 bucks.

I have to echo the Link’s Awakening love–a HUGE adventure on a tiny screen, plus the added joy of the trading game that begins with the Yoshi Doll.
Another favorite I never really hear about: Mole Mania. Really fun pick up and play puzzle/strategy.

Those are all great picks. I think my favorite Game Boy game (if we limit the selection to B&W games) is still the original Tetris. I certainly played that one the most. I’m also partial to Super Mario Land 2, Qix, and Quarth.

Original Gameboy; my best friend for many years. A simple game, yet one of my favorites is still Kirby’s Dream Land, it never gets old. Of course, Link’s Awakening and Metroid 2 are classics. So many games to choose from though. Boxxle is great, Double Dragon, any Mega Man game, Mario Land 2 (again), Super RC Pro-Am, Tetris…. it’s really hard to just pick a favorite…
