I have fond memories of the handheld Grandstand games Munchman and Mini Munchman, made by Tomy and Epoch.

Only one? 🙂 I loved PS1’s Pac-Man World, and had fun with the more recent Championship Edition and the brand-new Pac-Man 256.

I was always partial to CD-Man by Creative Dimensions, released for DOS:

    High-resolution and very smooth animation.

    I had Pac-Man fever back in the (19)80s. 😛

Oh man I stand corrected, I had CD-Man not PC-MAN. Pretty good graphics

I was always impressed with CD-Man. I remember years ago going back to play it and being surprised that it used EGA graphics (albeit rather high resolution — 640×350), because I recalled the graphics being rather detailed and well-done. It used smooth animations and applied dithering in a clever way to give the appearance of more colors.
