notice the family experience being promoted here..excellent.

You don’t have to make BF2 look lame. It does so right out of the box. UNREAL FOREVER!!!!!

The Odyssey’s console design is cool, but how is f*cking PONG a learning experience?

How great was it that in the early days the manuals, advertisements, boxes, etc, all had hand drawn art. Look at that screenshot, never mind the people!

  5. Benj Edwards Says:

The screenshot in the illustration is actually an accurate picture of the plastic overlay that was used for the Tennis game on the Odyssey. It’s a transparency illustrated with a green tennis court, white lines, and two stick figures, forever frozen in awkward action poses.

    Great stuff. 🙂

I am still searching for one of those bad boys. I hope to devote an entire wing to classic games. Complete with a store like demo display featuring as many as I can collect. It will be just like the audio displays at some stores, just press the button…

Some serious skillz there though. Dad is playing without looking at the screen, and mum’s gone one better by playing with her eyes closed. Presumably they’re using the Force or something.
