I’d like one of each, please.

Oh, yeah, have, as I’m sure that about 90% or so of everyone my age (30 on Wednesday) or older has at least once or twice. Personally, I’ve had several Nintendo-themed backpacks, used to buy the Nintendo Cereal System, own every episode of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show, The Legend Of Zelda, and Super Mario World; and have been clothed in everything from a replica Mario hat to a pair of Super Mario Bros. tennis shoes. Of course, this is before all the money I’ve spent over the years on their various consoles, handhelds, and games, and the total I’ve willfully handed over to Nintendo has to be in the tens of thousands since about 1986.

Do countless Nintendo t-shirts, several soundtrack CDs, and a Legend of Zelda bracelet count? Ah! Nintendo Power product catalogs of the mid-late 90s… I miss you! 🙂

Still do – the plush figures are popular as prizes at our game tournaments, although the model cars get more takers. They had a Nintendo Monopoly game fot a prize at the last event, but I grabbed it for the museum collection. I REALLY want the chess set.
